A friend of mine is thinking of using Tapestry of Grace (TOG) next year and she was asking me some questions about using it. I thought others may have questions like hers so I put the answers in a page on by blog named "Curriculum." Here is the link that will take you right to it.
Something that I learned from our conversation is that the TOG forum has a link for buying and selling used TOG curriculum. I looked at it and there were some good deals on it.
I still need to give my two cents about the difference between TOG and Sonlight for another friend!

Josh helped make pancakes for lunch today while I made an omelette. He wanted to make a "big" pancake. |
If you want to keep up with Journeying Sue....follow the blog by clicking on "Join this Site" on the sidebar to the right.
I've heard of TOG but have never used it. We've pretty much settled our high school curriculum (we've graduated 4 and and 2 in high school and 2 still to go) but I'm always excited to hear what works for others.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to invite you to share this on my link-up - Loving Our Children.

Hi Kate, I love the name of your blog. I will head over to your blog to link up. Thanks for the invite!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up, Sue! It's a perfect match. I love your mini bio at the top of the page. Boy, our homeschooling has changed every year as well!! Some years it has been 4 days a week, one of which is Saturday (when my husband worked Saturdays), some it was is in the evenings when my morning sickness was really dreadful, currently, we school year round with Aug-May being 3 weeks on, 1 week off and every other week in the summer. But that's a great part of homeschooling...working for what works best for your family!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to getting to know you better via our blogs!
Going to check out that link. I've heard of TOG but never used it. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThere is alot on their website, so if you can't find what you are looking for give them a call. Click on each of the tabs at the top...Tapestry of Grace (get a free curriculum sample), Learning Center (for their online courses), Community (it has their forum) and Store (click on Bookshelf to see what books you would use for each week/unit/year for each learning level).
